MORE EXAMPLES OF GST CERVANTES' DEFRAUDING IAM MEMBERS WITH COMPLETE EVIDENCE: AT WHAT POINT IS SHE FORCED TO RESIGN?
As I promised after Thursday's communication, outlining how GST Dora Cervantes' misappropriated IAM members' dues to pay for her Thanksgiving vacation in 2019 with full evidence, I will now offer more examples GST Cervantes' continuing fraud.
On Sunday, June 3, 2019, GST Cervantes travelled from her domicile of Upper Marlboro, MD to Las Vegas, NV to attend the IAM Communications Conference. On Friday, June 7, 2019, GST Cervantes bought a one way first class ticket on United Airlines from Las Vegas to Houston (not her domicile) for $643.30. The reason she claims on her Weekly Report for her first class travel from Las Vegas to Houston is to attend an AFL-CIO meeting.
NO MEETING AT THE AFL-CIO IN HOUSTON OCCURRED ON SATURDAY, JUNE 8, 2019. MOREOVER, GST CERVANTES IS NOT A DELEGATE TO THE AFL-CIO.
GST Cervantes also charged IAM Members fraudulently $100 for per diem and $30.16 for personal mileage for attending a meeting that never took place. In all, Cervantes defrauded IAM Members for a total of $773.46 from June 6th to June 7th, 2019.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, GST Cervantes travels from Upper Marlboro, MD to Houston and claims "administration and traveling" as the reason for her trip to Houston. She takes a vacation day on Friday, October 25, 2019, then has the weekend off. On Monday, October 28, 2019 GST Cervantes buys a one way ticket on United Airlines, defrauding IAM Members of $617.30. For her travel to and from Houston, which NO official union business was conducted, she also charged IAM Members $200 for per diem costs and $42.92 for personal mileage . In this particular incidence of fraud, from October 24 to October 28, 2019, GST Cervantes stole $860.22 from IAM Members.
Both incidents, June 6-7 and October 24-28 cost IAM Members $1,633.68 in fraudulent submissions by GST Cervantes.
GST Cervantes should resign. All Executive Council members should condemn this theft, not try and sweep it under the rug and issue hollow endorsements claiming GST Cervantes has integrity. IAM Representatives and Members from around the country are finding out and understand that our current GST has abused her office and defrauded the members she took an oath to represent. This is what gives Unions a bad name.
I ask that IAM Members demand transparency and stand with me in my quest to force transparency, honesty and integrity. GST Cervantes' behavior is not ok.
Please click the images below to view the Weekly Report, LL2198 meeting time verification and the Metropolitan Travel itinerary which corroborates the above.
I promise that I will never defraud this Union out of anything whatsoever, or allow it to be defrauded, if within my power to prevent it. To all of this, I most solemnly pledge my sacred word of honor—Challenger and Candidate for IAM GST Ian Scott-Anderman
